G'day Mate! Now that you learned how to make wine how about we take a stroll through some of the finest wineries in McLaren Vale and taste a bit of some of that nectar of the Gods.. ..

Did you know that some of the vinyards plant roses- Red or White to indicate the type of grapes- really it is to keep the aphids off the grapes

Let's start of at Hugh Hamilton's Winery

The view from the top of the hill

is spectacular

They have some of the most creative sounding wines like "The Rascal" Shiraz,

"The Scallywag" Chardonnay and

"The Villain" Cabernet Sauvignon

Well, it was time for lunch

Ok maybe just a bit more wine tasting

The food was great- a masterpiece!

The outdoor setting were filled with wonderful gardens

stomachs were filled!

These wineries were all in McLaren Vale.

The McLaren Vale is half an hour south of Chardonnay Adelaide, between the Southern Adelaide Hills and the sea. The areas hot summer growing season is tempered by cool afternoon sea breezes.
